Nestled in the picturesque Coquetvale, my recent stay at Tosson was a fantastic blend of comfort and practicality. The hospitality began with a warm welcome from Ann, making it clear from the start that we were in good hands. The facilities offered included a flat-screen TV and convenient tea and coffee options—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The Bracken room, while more luxurious, was a solid reflection of the hotel’s overall quality. Both rooms we utilized were spacious and impeccably clean, showcasing a thoughtful design that balances value with an upscale feel. The sitting areas throughout the property provided perfect spots to unwind, particularly after enjoying a substantial breakfast that offered great variety. With easy access to Rothbury and nearby attractions like NT Cragside, Tosson presents an excellent location. While it doesn’t come as a budget option, the overall experience justifies the cost, especially for travelers looking for both relaxation and exploration. Definitely consider Tosson for your next getaway!
